What is a Keratin Treatment?

Keratin is a protein that naturally occurs in your hair. Over time, heat, chemicals, and environmental damage deplete it. A keratin treatment infuses your hair shaft with a keratin-based formula, then seals it with heat — resulting in smoother, shinier, frizz-free hair.

The Treatment Process

1. Wash — Your hair is thoroughly cleansed with a clarifying shampoo to open the cuticle and remove any product build-up.
2. Application — The keratin formula is applied section by section from roots to ends.
3. Processing — The formula is left to penetrate the hair shaft for 20–45 minutes.
4. Blow Dry — Your hair is blow-dried straight.
5. Flat Iron Seal — A flat iron at high heat seals the keratin into the cuticle, locking in the treatment.

Results & Duration

Results are immediate — you'll leave the salon with visibly smoother, shinier hair. The treatment typically lasts 2–3 months, depending on your hair type and aftercare routine.

• Wait 72 hours before washing your hair or tying it up
• Use sulfate-free shampoo only
• Avoid chlorinated water (wear a swim cap)
• Use a silk or satin pillowcase
• Avoid salt water where possible
